Our second exchange of the semester was with the beautiful ladies of Alpha Chi Omega. We had a “Tight and Bright” Exchange and played capture the flag in the mall!
In early September we had a great exchange with the ladies of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority before our Concert Philanthropy. We raised over $500 for the Mental Health Association of Minnesota and had a great time doing it. A warm thanks to all those who came out for our event.
We had a great recruitment season, and have 15 awesome guys who are ready to join the Brotherhood of Beta Theta Pi. Here are some great pictures from the recruitment season!
To cap off Sweetheart Week we had a great Coronation. For those of you who aren’t super familiar with Sweetheart Week, each Sorority on campus sends a candidate to run for “sweetheart” after a week of stiff competition including a bake-off, skits, and interviews, the house selects two sweethearts for the next year. The purpose of having sweethearts is to build relations throughout the Greek community, and maybe get a couple of baked goods from it. It’s also a sad time, because we had to say good-bye to last year’s Sweethearts Kelsey and Alicia, but welcomed this year’s Mary and Alaine!
Well, better late than never! This year we had a great Spring Philanthropy called Beta Theta Pies. Through our event we raised over $1,000 for the American Cancer Society and had great fun doing it! Inside the house we had a local band, the Tasty Tones (who were absolutely fantastic… shameless plug) that really helped bring people in!

Formal Part 1
We had a great Parent’s Day this year! We like to thank all the parents who traveled both near and far to come for our event! This year we had a reception at the chapter house, followed by dinner and a banquet at the Club Room in William’s Arena.
Thanks to the ladies of Theta for an excellent March Madness Exchange! We had a great time sporting our favorite jerseys including some Gopher Hockey!
